Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 27, 2026

This policy covers what data InfoProdSpy collects, how we use it, and who we share it with. It applies to everyone who uses our website and service at infoprodspy.com.

InfoProdSpy is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Gumroad Inc. in any way.

What We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe processes your payment — we never see or store your full card number.

We also collect usage data automatically: pages you visit, features you use, your IP address, browser type, and device information. We use PostHog for product analytics.

If you email us, we keep that correspondence.

Publicly Available Product Data

InfoProdSpy collects publicly available product information from third-party marketplaces (specifically Gumroad) to provide market intelligence. This includes product titles, descriptions, prices, review counts, and other details visible on public product pages.

Sales figures displayed on InfoProdSpy are estimates derived from public data points. They are not verified sales numbers. We make no claim of accuracy — see our Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.

If you are a product creator and want your products removed from our database, email us at contact@infoprodspy.com and we will process your request within 30 days.

How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and maintain the service
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions
  • To send transactional emails (receipts, password resets)
  • To improve the product based on usage patterns
  • To detect abuse and prevent fraud

We don't sell your data. We don't run ads.

Third Parties

We share data with a limited number of service providers, only what they need to do their job:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's privacy policy.
  • Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
  • Vercel — frontend hosting.
  • PostHog — product analytics.

We may also disclose your information if required by law, or to protect our rights in a legal dispute.

Cookies

We use cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in) and analytics (PostHog). We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser lets you block cookies, but the app won't work properly without the authentication ones.

Do-Not-Track

We do not currently respond to Do-Not-Track browser signals. There is no industry standard for how to handle them, so we don't.

Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. After you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 60 days. We may retain billing records for up to 7 years for tax and legal purposes.

Aggregated, anonymized usage data (no personal identifiers) may be kept indefinitely.

Your Rights

You can:

  • Request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and personal data
  • Opt out of marketing emails at any time

To exercise any of these, email contact@infoprodspy.com. We respond within 5 business days.

Children

InfoProdSpy is not directed at anyone under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from children. If we find out we have, we delete it.

California Residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. We don't sell personal information. To submit a request, email contact@infoprodspy.com.

Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, encrypt data at rest, and restrict access to production systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. If the changes are significant, we'll email active users before they take effect. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
